Toyota Etios Liva with a New Dual tone launched at Rs.5.94 lakh

Toyota launched the All New Etios Liva in a dual tone with price starting at Rs.5.94 lakh. It is available in both Petrol and Diesel variants priced between Rs.5.94 lakh to Rs.6.44 lakh for Petrol and Rs.7.24 to Rs.7.61 lakh for Diesel (ex-showroom Mumbai).

New Toyota Liva comes with attractive features on its exteriors like the completely redesigned roof spoiler to give it sporty looks, new and striking dual tone painted contrast roof and pillars, blackened front grille with a bolder look, chrome bezel for fog lamp enclosures, electrically foldable outer rear view mirrors and Diamond cut alloy wheels. Interiors get new instrument panel in piano black finish, Optitron Combimeter, Rear removable headrests and adjustable front headrests for added comfort and all-new upholstery with 3d texture.

Toyota Kirloskar Motors have provided the Dual tone Etios Liva with essential safety features like Dual SRS airbags and ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution) as standard. Additional features include 3 point emergency retractor seatbelts for all 5 seats, ISOFIX child seat locks which comes as standard across all variants.

The All New Etios Dual tone Liva comes with the same engine as the existing model. The 1.2L DOHC Petrol engine produces 79bhp and 104Nm of torque, while the 1.4L Diesel engine produces 67bhp and 170Nm of peak torque. Both engines are married to a manual 5-speed gearbox. Etios Liva Dual tone will be available through the company dealerships across the country. However, it has also been made clear that the existing Etios Liva model will continue in the retail market.

Vehicle insurance to be renewed only with a valid PUC certificate

Indian Government is on the move to curb pollution levels in the country taking measures at various levels. The latest one to hear is the mandatory requirement of a valid PUC (Pollution under Control) certificate for insurance renewal. The Honourable Supreme Court under a bench headed by Justice Madan B. Lokur and Justice Deepak Gupta released an order stating that all vehicles in the Delhi-NCR should have a valid PUC certificate to get the insurance renewed annually.

Jeep Compass rolls out in India at prices starting from Rs.14.95 lakh

The most anticipated SUV of the year, Jeep Compass was officially launched in India on July 31st 2017. Being a locally assembled SUV from Jeep was one of the reasons that paved way for excitement towards this launch. Isuzu MU-X launched in India at a starting price of Rs.23.99 lakh

MU-X, A new SUV from Isuzu Motors India was launched in India on Thursday replacing the MU-7 from their Indian line-up. This robust utility vehicle comes in two variants- a 4x2 variant priced at Rs.23.99 lakh and 4x4 variant at Rs.25.99 lakh (Both Ex-showroom Delhi). The MU-X shares its platform with the new-generation D-Max and rivals against the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour. The MU-X had conquered the global market until March 2017 after which a facelifted version of the same was launched there. The facelift MU-X will reach India in another year or so, depending on how good the Indian markets welcome this model here.

2017 Maruti Dzire- Bookings open at Rs.11,000 token amount

National Green Tribunal plea to Supreme Court for ban on Diesel Cars

On December 2015, National Green Tribunal (NGT) efforts to reduce the air pollution in Delhi -NCR region ended up with the Supreme Court issuing a ban on new registration of diesel cars and SUVs over 2000cc until March 30th 2016. The court later extended the date until April 30th after which the ban was decided to continue until further orders.
