BMW Motorrad officially brought the 2017 iteration of their super naked sports bike S1000R in the country. This new version gets a revised chassis, lean angle sensitive ABS and a bi-directional quick shifter along with a BS-IV compliant engine as part of updates. Due to the new lighter chassis, the weight has been reduced by 2kgs while the new BS-IV compliant engine now produces more power of 162bhp than the old model.
Along with few cosmetic updates as the new fairing upfront, this new sports bike gets a titanium silencer and new handlebar too that ensures less noise and vibration. With a revised instrument cluster and new paint scheme, the S1000R now looks more aggressive and charged with a street fighter look.
