Ford India Private Limited has launched an update for their mid-sized SUV - The Ford Endeavour which is based on Ford Ranger. In this update, Ford has included a manual transmission variant which wasn’t available since 2017.
Ford Endeavour is set to master any terrain it faces with the Terran Management System which has 3 modes namely Sand, Snow/Mud, and Rock. Two engine variants - 2.2 litres and 3.2 litres are offered.
The 2.2L engine offers 14.40 kmpl in manual transmission variant and 12.62 kmpl in the automatic transmission whereas the 3.2L engine offers 10.6 kmpl.
With seven airbags that consists of one for the driver’s knees and ultra-high strength steel, the vehicle offers a good level of safety. The 5-star rating from ASEAN NCAP is a testimony for the safety of the machine.
Rival of this power-packed SUV are Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Honda CR-V, and Mahindra Alturas G4.
