Honda revealed a teaser image of their upcoming next generation Jazz, ahead of its global debut at the Tokyo Motor Show. The teaser image has the profile of this much anticipated model in a dark shadow. The fourth generation Jazz appears tall, curvy and more rounded when compared to the outgoing model.
From the spy images revealed in the past couple of days, we know that the vehicle looks more steady in stance now. The headlamps have been revised and swept back further high. Tail lights too have been redesigned, while the tailgate design makes the vehicle look entirely new from the rear. The shark fin antenna at the roof is more prominent in the teaser image.
Honda Jazz 2020
will have elements of similarity at the front with the Honda CR-V
facelift, and also will most likely be featured in the sub 4 metre segment, when brought to India. The new urban hatch is expected to have a spacious cabin unlike before. Inside, there will be a large infotainment screen along with a digital instrument cluster.
Honda Jazz is also named Honda Fit in certain markets, has been ‘redesigned with the passenger at its heart’ as claimed by the company. The tagline alone says the amount of energy spent on redesigning the car with the comfort and contentment of the passenger. Hence, high hopes are expected on the new generation model.
Apparently, the European market will feature only the advanced two motor hybrid power-train variant of the new generation Jazz. India will however get the BS-VI engine, a 1.2L or 1.5L unit, in line with the stringent emission norms to hit the market in a couple of months. New Gen Honda Jazz is expected to share its underpinnings with the upcoming Honda City 2020
and will continue to rival its existing competitors in the country, upon launch that is predicted in the second half of 2020.
