The sixth edition of the India Bike Week (IBW) which is one of the largest motorcycle gatherings in Asia. It is live on December 6 and 7, 2019 at Vagator, Goa. It is a large gathering of over 20,000 motorcyclists from across the country.

The India Bike Week is a mix of adventure, motorcycle culture, music, and biker brotherhood. This is an ideal way to bring the anticipated motorcycles together under the same roof. KTM joins the festival this year as a partner. The most anticipated bikes that are set to debut at India Bike Week 2019 is KTM’s 390 Adventure and 250 Adventure, Husqvarna, Triumph Rocket III, Mantis Electric Motorcycle.

KTM 390 and 250 Adventure :

The most-awaited KTM adventure bikes have made their way to India via IBW 2019. This is not an adventure bike out of all thoughts but a comfortable tourer instead. The KTM 250 Adventure was silently unveiled in the Indian market.

The KTM 390 Adventure comes with a 373 cc single-cylinder BS6 compliant motor that produces 43 bhp of power and 37 Nm of peak torque. The price range is expected around Rs.3 lakh (ex-showroom) which makes the bike a more affordable adventure vehicle to go on sale in India.

The baby adventure 250 bike comes with the same 249 cc single-cylinder motor as KTM 250 Duke. The motor belts out 29 bhp power and 24 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is also BS6 compliant and comes with dual-channel ABS as standard. The price is expected to start from ? 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Triumph Rocket III :

The 2020 Triumph Rocket 3 was showcased in IBW 2019, as part of Triumph's sixth-anniversary celebration in India. The cruiser bike is launched in India on 6th December, one day after IBW commenced. The rocket 3 gets a complete overhaul in terms of design and powertrain. Now it comes with a larger 2500 cc in-line, three-cylinder engine that produces 165 bhp and 221 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The Rocket 3 R variant will go on sale in India at a price of Rs.18 lakh (ex-showroom).

Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 and Svartpilen 401 :

The Swedish motorcycle brand Husqvarna making its India debut along with its most awaited models- Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. The Husqvarna motorcycle was bought by the KTM Group in 2013. Both the Vitpilen 401 and the Svartpilen 401 comes with an urban retro look. It gets a round LED headlamp, flat seat, spoked wheels and a reworked fuel tank. Launch of the Husqvarna bikes will happen early next year, and will be sold through the KTM and Bajaj showrooms in India.

Mantis Electric Motorcycle :

The Bengaluru-based motorcycle company will unveil the Mantis electric motorcycle in IBW 2019. The demand for electric vehicles is more nowadays. In the IBW 2019, the electric motorcycles section will witness the new electric bikes from Orxa Energies. The Mantis electric motorcycle will be capable of hitting a top speed of 140 kmph and provides a range of about 200 km per single charge. The electric bike comes with a digital dashboard and a dedicated mobile app for ride analytics, diagnostics and preventive maintenance. More details about the bike have not been disclosed yet.
