Mahindra XUV300 is the latest addition to the Indian subcompact SUV segment. 1497 cc diesel powered engine and a 1197 petrol engine are available in various combinations of features. The 6-speed manual transmission was a standard across all the models. Mahindra recently added the much awaited automatic variant to the lineup.
The petrol engine that offers 110 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque is inspired from X100 platform of SsangYong Tivoli whereas the diesel engine borrowed from Mahindra Marazzo outputs 115 bhp of power and 300 Nm of torque.
Ford’s Ecosport is an immediate alternate for this mini SUV vehicle.
