The GLS 350d Grand Edition comes with a number of new features on the exterior including 10 spoke 20-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlamps with black surround, Grand edition badges and prominent chrome finished fins on the bonnet to give an SUV styling.
The interior gets few cosmetic upgrades that include the Nappa leather wrapped heated 3-spoke multifunctional steering accompanied by paddle shifters, the Nappa leather airbag cover and 12 function keys, rear seat entertainment system as standard, two 7-inch HD touch screens for infotainment and other functions etc.
The GLS 350d Grand Edition comes with a 3litre V6 diesel engine churning out 258 bhp and 620Nm of torque whereas the GLS 400 produces 333 bhp and 480Nm of torque with the same 3 litre V6 petrol engine. Both the engines are mated with a 9G-Tronic (nine speed) automatic gearbox. The Mercedes 4Matic all-wheel drive System and AIRMATICS suspension system come as standard features on these SUVs.
