Italian Bike brand Benelli discontinued operations in India a year ago due to problems in the administration level after their Indian partner DSK group experienced serious financial crisis.
Now Benelli is back in business having partnered with Mahavir groups from Hyderabad. A new company Adishwar Auto Ride (AARI) has been started by Mahavir groups for this purpose, which is now the sole distributor of Benelli motorcycles in India. The company that owns 15 dealers under its hood are planning to add 25 new showrooms by March 2019.
Benelli relaunched three models in this comeback- the naked TNT 300i
priced at Rs.3.50 lakh, fully faired 302R
at Rs.3.70 lakh and TNT 600i
at Rs.6.20 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). They have also planned to launch RK 502 (Tourer) and RK 502x (Adventure) models within the first half of the next year. Both these models are highly anticipated models by bike enthusiasts across the country.
Benelli, the most sought after superbike brand has announced it will reduce the costs by 24% by increasing the service interval times from 4 months or 4,000kms to 6 months or 6,000kms and will also give a 5-year unlimited kilometer warranty. This type of after sales benefits is the first time being availed on a super bike and the good news is that it is applicable to the previous buyers owning a Benelli as well. Previously, the company had retailed models including TNT25, TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT R, 302R and TNT 899.
The company has promised to improve the customer satisfaction in terms of sales and after sales with the increased dealer count under the new partnership.
