The Lamborghini Huracan was introduced back in 2014 replacing Gallardo. The car has lots of variants to choose from the Coupe and the Spyder based on the exteriors and the LP580-2 and the LP610-4. The Coupe is the hardtop version while the Spyder was introduced as the convertible model. Based on the engines and the drive train, there is a 572bhp model with a 2 wheel drive system and the top spec 610-4 that produces a power of 602bhp with 4 wheel drive system.
The Huracan has undergone a mid-life facelift with updates throughout the car. Unveiled on Monday, New Huracan now comes with an EVO badge. This model may likely make its global debut in the 2019 Geneva International show.
The exteriors appear revised on the front and the rear bumpers too. The front fascia now has a larger intake, also seen on the front side skirts. The rear portion seems influenced by its Perfomante model with exhaust tips positioned higher with an integrated wing spoiler. The interior features a new touchscreen infotainment system which unseen in previous models.
The design isn’t the only thing that draws inspiration from the Perfomante model; the engine specs and mechanicals too have been carried out . The engine now matches up the power of its performance model gaining a bump of 640 horsepower and 600Nm of torque. This engine is mated with a seven speed dual-clutch transmission which sends power to all the four wheels. The steering system is updated from the Aventador which is a four wheel steering unit along with a Torque vectoring unit which sends the required power to the required wheel. The ECU has also been revised with an AI unit to control every aspect of the car’s dynamic behavior by predicting the driver’s response to provide him more control over the machine. The chassis has also been updated for more stability at higher speeds.
These performance mods have helped the Huracan Evo to reach the 100kmph mark in under 2.9 seconds which is .3 seconds faster than the outgoing model. The Huracan can reach a top speed of 320kmph. Unveiling the Huracan Evo, the production of Performante model could be stopped and a new performante version of the Huracan may be expected by 2022. The prices for this model are expected to be around 3.75crore rs INR
