Honda implemented CBS technology on its three 110cc motorcycles- CD Dream 110, Dream Yuga and Livo. The three models that were re-launched with the brand’s patented technology of combined braking system are now priced marginally higher than the outgoing ones.
The combined braking system is a soon to be mandatory safety feature in India, precisely from April 1,2019 onwards as per the government’s BS-VI norms. Other models including the best sellers Navi, Shine SP and CB Shine from the brand had already been equipped with this feature. We hope Honda Dream Neo will soon receive this update as well, since it is the only non-CBS model remaining in the lineup.
Honda CD 110 Dream with CBS is priced at Rs.50,028 as against the standard model that is priced Rs.559 lesser than the new variant. Dream Yuga CBS is priced at Rs.54,807 while Livo CBS with drum brake is priced at Rs.57,539 and disc brake variant priced at Rs.59,950 (Above mentioned prices are all Ex-Showroom Delhi).
Honda’s unique Anti-Lock Braking System called CBS was first tried out on the Gold Wing model that proved to be highly effective in efficient braking of both wheels without wheel lock when applied during emergency situations.
