Company will bring its next generation of Grand i10 to the Indian market in the third week of August, precisely on the 20th.
The new Hyundai Grand i10
is expected to be very different in terms of exterior looks. According to reports from various sources, the car was seen spotted testing with a real tight ‘body cover’ indicating a major change at both ends.The hood, front grille, headlamp, as well as tail lamp sections receives a brand-new design as part of the update. A refreshed alloy wheel design is also expected on the 2019 Grand i10.
The dashboard may receive a major update with the inclusion of a new infotainment system seen only on the compact SUV segment till date. 2019 Grand i10 is also expected to possess the Blue Link connected car feature.
The 1.2-litre power house will offer the same performance as before, while emissions would be much lesser and in accordance with BS-VI standard. A 5-speed manual transmission variant along with an AMT automatic transmission will be offered as options on this revamped model.
As of now, we haven’t heard any word from the manufacturer and the speculations point that the current generation will also be available in the market along with the upcoming iteration. The ‘Prime’ suffix would differentiate the upcoming model from the outgoing one which will soon join the fleet segment.
