The Bullet 350
and The Bullet 350ES with single channel ABS and rear lift protection have been launched in India. As per the new law all two wheelers must have ABS (Antilock Breaking System) or CBS (Combi Brake System) depending upon the engine displacement. All the RE models are now updated with ABS now and comply with the safety standards set by the Government.
The New Bullet 350 is installed with a 280mm disc in front and with 2 piston calipers while the rear carries 153mm single lead internal expanding drum brake. The 350ES comes with the same setup of Bullet 350, the 280 mm disc in the front but has a rear disc brake too, even though it gets only a single channel ABS.
RE Bullet 350 and 350ES are equipped with the same heart, a 346cc single cylinder air cooled engine that lets out 19.8bhp and 28Nm peak torque with a 5 speed transmission gearbox. The prices of Bullet 350 and 350ES have been increased by Rs.3500 and Rs.1400 respectively as against their non-ABS versions. The price hike is simply because of the installation of single channel ABS. If it were a dual channel ABS upgrade, the prices would have easily gone up by atleast Rs.10000.
