Isuzu has scheduled the global debut of its third-generation D-Max pickup truck on 19th October 2019 in Thailand. Indian launch is expected a little later.
The teaser video
was released on YouTube ahead of the global debut. Although the video doesn’t reveal much about the new Isuzu vehicle, it allows some glimpses of it.
The third generation D-Max
will host a variety of premium features than the second generation D-max
models. That includes an updated dark-themed dashboard with a new touchscreen infotainment system.
On the exterior, the single-frame grille appears bold and fresh. The U-shaped LED DRLs looks better than the previous headlamp unit. The tail-lamp has also been updated to complement the overall design language. It gets a new double-lamp design which is separated from each other. The addition of a skid-plate on the front adds to the aggressive stance.
On the mechanical front, the company is very tight-lipped. Isuzu might offer the current 2.5-litre engine along with the recently launched 1.9-litre diesel engine. The current model costs 14.84 - 19.99 lakh rupees in India.
