Ducati India launched the 2019 Hypermotard 950 in India at a starting price of Rs.11.99 lakh (Ex Showroom). This motorcycle was first unveiled at the 2018 EICMA show in last year October.

The new model Ducati Hypermotard 950 is available in two variants-Hypermotard 950 SP and the standard Hypermotard 950 powered by a 937cc twin-cylinder Ducati Testastretta 11 degree engine that generates 114bhp at 9,000 rpm and 96 Nm at 7,250 rpm while being mated to a six speed gearbox. This engine is now 1.5kg lighter when compared with the ongoing model. The motorcycle gets three riding modes-Sport, Touring, and Urban.

This new Hypermotard 950 actually replaces the existing Hypermotard 939, at the same time it is an all new motorcycle in every single aspect. The view from the front is defined by the Hypermotard beak with a compact headlight along with a DRL.

The differences that can be seen between standard Ducati Hypermotard 950 and the Hypermotard 950 SP are with the suspension set up, weight, wheels and tyres, and the seat height. The Hypermotard 950 comes with fully adjustable Marzocchi front fork and Sachs rear monoshock. At the same time, Hypermotard 950 SP gets fully adjustable Ohlins suspension both at the front and back, with more travel. The weight of the standard model is 200Kg and the SP variant is 2Kg lighter than the standard model and weighs at 198Kg. The seat height is 870mm for the standard version where it is 890mm for the SP variant.

Interested buyers can book new Hypermotard from all Ducati dealerships across the country that includes Delhi – NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad.
