The Japanese manufacturer headquartered in Minato, Tokyo has announced the addition of the BS6 compliant version of its middleweight supernaked bike, the Z650. The new Kawasaki bike will be available in Metallic Spark Black colour.
The Kawasaki motorcycle equipped with a 649cc parallel twin engine is known in India for its balance between handling, engine and chassis performance. The new bike comes with Sugomi styling in which the head is positioned lower with an upswept tail. This gives a crouching stance for the bike.
The 2020 Kawasaki Z650 BS6 comes with LED headlamps, a 4.3 inch TFT colour instrument panel, and a set of Dunlop Sportsmax Roadsport 2 tyres. The new Kawasaki bike also comes with smartphone connectivity via “Rideology The App”.
The new emission norms has caused an increase in the price of the Z650 in India. The Z650 costs Rs.6,25,000 to 6,50,000 (Ex-Showroom) while the current version has an ex-showroom price of Rs.5,69,000.
The new Z650 will arrive at the showroom outlets in January 2020.
