Bajaj Auto launched an entry-level model, CT 110 to their CT commuter series in two variants of kick start and self-start options. The kick start CT110 is priced at Rs.37,997 and electric-start one is sold at Rs.44,352 (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
Though the new base model of Bajaj is priced slightly more than the Bajaj CT100, it offers a host of features to satisfy the group of target customers. New graphics, rubber tank pad, bigger seat with extra padding, all-black engine, gearbox and wheels, large crash guards, raised exhaust pipe etc. are a couple of features that need special mention.
Bajaj CT 110 finds its place between Bajaj CT 100 and Bajaj Platina 110. Apparently, the 115cc DTS-I engine is borrowed from Platina and produces 8.6bhp and 9.81Nm of torque. There is a four-speed manual gearbox with an all down gear shift setup coupled to the engine.
Bajaj CT 110 is equipped with telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It also gets anti-skid brakes for extra grip during braking. However, there is no option for disc brakes on this commuter. This is also one of the most affordable models from its lineup upon launch. Ground clearance of 170mm is better compared to other models from the segment. Muscular tyres have been provided for extra comfort while riding over potholes and rugged roads in our country.
CT 110 competes with Hero HF Deluxe and TVS Sport as it has started occupying all Bajaj dealerships in India ready for deliveries.
