Benelli, a Chinese owned Italian sports bike manufacturer, has updated its scrambler range in India by launching the Leoncino 250 for the cost of Rs.2.5 lakh (ex-showroom price). The Leoncino 250 sits below Leoncino 500, which was revealed in the month of August 2019. That makes Leoncino 250, Benelli’s most affordable motorcycle brand in the Indian lineup. This motorcycle can be booked by paying a refundable token amount of Rs.6000 either online, or by visiting any of the Benelli dealer networks across the entire country.
The Benelli Leoncino 250 is built on a steel trellis frame and comes with dimensions of 2030mm in length, 840 mm in width, and 1115 mm in height if it gets a comfortable seating position and comes with a ride height of 810 mm and features a fuel tank of 12.5 litre capacity.
Leoncino 250 is powered by a 249cc, liquid-cooled engine with double overhead camshaft timing system, single-cylinder, and electronic fuel injection capable of producing 25.4 BHP of peak power at 9250 RPM and 21Nm of torque at 8000 RPM.
Benelli Leoncino 250 gets a dual-tone color scheme and features a round headlamp assembly with LED setup and gets a laid digital instrument cluster. The bike sits on 17-inch aluminum-alloy rims with 110/70 and 150/60 section tires. The Benelli Leoncino 250 is offered in a choice of 4 colors that include Red, Brown, White, and Grey.
