Auto companies are pacing up with the BS-VI versions of their models, with the emission norms coming into effect in another couple of months. TVS Motor has launched its BS6 compliant versions of Apache RTR 160 4V and Apache RTR 200 4V in India. The 2020 TVS Apache RTR 4V motorcycles will be the first BS-VI vehicles from TVS Motors. The company has started to accept bookings through all TVS dealerships across the country.
Both Apache RTR 4V motorcycles are equipped with race graphics, feather touch start and an all new claw styled position LED headlamps for better light penetration long and wide. This new series range comes with an advanced engine with Race Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-Fi)technology, a first of its kind In-built GTT that lets the motorcycle glide through city traffic easily. These Motorcycles provide dual channel ABS for the safety feature.
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V have an advanced 159.7 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, oil-cooled engine, that generates 16.02 PS power at 8250rpm and 14.12 Nm peak torque at 7250rpm. It comes paired to a five speed super-slick gearbox. This model comes with both disc and drum brake variants. The drum bike variant price at Rs.99,950, while the disc variant has been priced at Rs.1.03 lakh. The vehicle will be available in three colors includes Racing Red, Metallic Blue and Night Black and gets dual tone seat.
TVS Apache RTR 200 4V comes equipped with a 197.75cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, oil-cooled engine, that produce 20.5 PS of power at 8500 RPM and 16.8 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. This engine is paired to a 5 speed gearbox. This motorcycle is available in one standard variant at a price tag of Rs.1.24 lakh and is offered in two colors to choose from - Gloss Black and Pearl White.
