Polaris India Pvt. Ltd. launched the 2016 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse in the country on November 25th this year. This all black bagger has unquestionable presence and attitude that demands the attention of its onlookers at every angle. This beast comes with matte black finish all over and minimum chrome compared to its standard version Indian Chieftain but the mechanicals remain pretty much the same for both.
Coming from the celebrated Chief family, all new Indian Chieftain Dark Horse is powered by a 1811cc Thunder stroke 111 Petrol engine that fires 73bhp of power and 140Nm of torque. The V- twin engine is mated to a 6 speed gearbox. As mentioned earlier, this new cruiser borrows most of the detailing from its sibling like the huge 46mm telescopic front forks and an adjustable mono shock at its rear.
A plethora of features like the tinted power wind screen, ABS, cruise control, low slung solo seat, monitoring system for the tyre pressure, LED lights, integrated audio system, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a digital-analog clock and so on. This all new bagger comes also available for customization with few accessories on the Indian Chieftain Dark Horse kit. The fuel tank stores 21L of petrol while the motorcycle weighs a solid 300kg. This cruiser is priced at Rs.31.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
