Ducati India launched the special edition Panigale 959 Corse in India at a price of Rs.15.20 lakh (Ex-Showroom). Available in a new levery that features red and white paint scheme adopted from the Moto GP Desmosedici GP 18, this model comes at a premium of Rs.67,000 than the standard version.
959 Corse edition receives a 955cc super quadro Euro 4 engine that generates 150 bhp and 102Nm of torque. However, it doesn’t receive a fully adjustableOhlins suspension, titanium dual exhaust Akrapovic pipe and lithium batteries on the Indian spec Corse. These features had brought down the kerb weight of the sports bike in the international markets by around 2.26kg compared to the one available in the country now.
Ducati Panigale 959 Corse receives a host of other electronic features that include two channel Bosch ABS 9MP, Ducati Traction Control, Quick Shift, Engine Brake Control, Ride-by-wire technology and many more. It sports three riding modes namely Race, Sport and Wet.
Ducati India has begun to accept bookings for the Panigale 959 Corse through its dealerships in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi. Ducati Riding Experience will be held at the Buddh International Circuit next week for the first time in India.
DRE Track Days is a global program that teaches the Ducati sports bike riders techniques for safe racing free of cost. Training will be conducted by Alessandro Valia, company’s official DRE trainer with an experience of over a decade. The riders who participate in the event will also get a chance to test ride the new Panigale 959 Corse apart from Panigale V4 and Super Sport.
