Royal Enfield has made its way up the ladder to mark its place among the top 5 motor vehicles in India.
With the advent of an all new segment through its new launch, the 410cc Himalayan by the motor giant Royal Enfield, the company has made its way up the ladder to mark its place among the top 5 motor vehicles in India. Data claims that last financial year marked a steady growth in sales of more than 50%, for the company. In fact, the growth has been steady for last couple of years. Meanwhile, RE knocked down Yamaha as they reached the fifth position, the reason purely being under performance in sales by the latter. Now as it proudly stands behind Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, and TVS Motor, RE recollects the journey has been one of a kind, taking the road less taken. The company with its two manufacturing plants in Chennai plans to open up one more to meet the growing demands in the market for the next couple of years. On the global side, there is more news as RE has opened exclusive retails stores in different parts of the world. When other companies manufactured motor vehicles for the market, Royal Enfield dared to take a different stride and manufactured its own segment creating a market for itself. Apart from being a little easy on pocket while competing with Harley Davidson, this could be probably one of the reasons why it managed to be one of the most loved motor cycles ever made in India.
