The Kawasaki ninja is probably the first name to utter when it comes to performance racing bikes. The company stands by its promises and never fails to come up with their fantastic range of motorcycles every year.
We want to divert your attention to the latest entrant into the Ninja family- The Ninja ZX-10R SE which is an update to the RR version of the same as per the sources.
The special edition ZX 10R or the SE is technologically way ahead of its previous models. The bike is equipped with electronically adjustable suspension and forged wheels as the marquee upgrades. The forged Marchesini wheels and the bidirectional quick shifters are some of the bits borrowed from the RR.
The company claims that the SE version of the Ninja ZX 10R is capable enough to churn out 197 BHP in terms of power and 114 Nm of torque at 13,000 and 11,000 rpm.
It also gets the added advantage with the addition of semi- active shova suspension which monitors the movement of the suspension every millisecond. The IMU and the ECU adjust the same at every 10 milliseconds. The tyres available in the market for the respective bike are Bridgestone Battlax RS 10 tyres. With a single color scheme being used, it is said to be the most expensive ZX-10r.
The special edition ZX-10r is loaded with lot more features including the Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension (KECS), ride modes – Road, Track, and Manual which gives access to 15 levels of tunability, adjustable via dashboard.
All this features are definitely exciting but it all comes down to a dilemma to the buyers in India because of the fact that modified engines aren’t street legal in the country. Hence, we cannot confirm if the bike will be available to customers. However, we expect the launch of this beast machine sometime in 2018.
