Two times championship winner in the world, SSK racing competition comes to India. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director, India Kawasaki Motors officially launched the Mighty Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R in India. It is the only bike from Kawasaki available in the country in this class. Priced at Rs.10.49 lakh (Ex-showroom), the bookings had already begun in October 2018 as we all know. Delivery of the motorcycle will commence from Feburary 2019.
Here is a quick look at what the Baby Ninja ZX10R has to offer us.
The engine is a 636cc unit, consisting of four cylinders and produces maximum power output of 128bhp with the RPM needle striking the 13,500mark and the max torque is at 11,500 with 70.5NM. This engine is coupled with a 6 speed gearbox unit which upshifts faster with a quick shifter what Kawasaki calls it as KQS(Kawasaki Quick shifter) and the downshifts are smooth with a slipper clutch.
For customizing the ride, there is an option of two power modes while for better stop it has a 3-stage traction control“KTRC” (Kawasaki Traction Control) along with dual channel ABS system“KIBS” (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock brake system). The front suspension unit has Showa’s SFF-BP (Separate Function Fork- Big Piston) and a monoshock at the rear. 310mm rotors by Nissin at the front same with a 220mm disc at the rear handle braking duties. The alloys are of 17 inch in size wrapped in BattlaxHypersport 22 rubber by Bridgestone.
Ninja ZX10R comes with twin LED headlamps upfrontwhich makes it look like an H2R whileabove the headlamps sits an analogue tachometer along with a multi-function LCD screen. The rear gets LED taillamp as well.
Launching this Bike Yutaka Yamashita stated they are sure about the success story that is yet to be created, that is quite evident from the poll positions it scored being two time champion in the last four years.
