Revolt Intellicorp launched India’s first all electric motorcycle models, RV 300 and RV 400. What makes this bike even more interesting is its purchase payment plan for as low as Rs.2999 per month.
The entry level Revolt RV 300 appears smaller than the Revolt RV 400 that comes in two variants; base and premium variant. RV 300 shares its looks with the elder sibling, however differs in frame, motor and the colours it is being offered in. RV 300 is equipped with a 1.5kW electric motor that gives it a top speed of 65kmph and a full range of 180km on Eco Mode. Other modes Normal and Sport render range of 110km and 80km respectively on a full charge. The younger sibling weighs approximately 7kgs lesser than the elder.
The big brother RV 400 comes in two variants. This model features a 3kW electric motor, supported by a 3.24kW lithium-ion battery. The mileage of RV 400 is claimed to be 156km on a full charge. RV 400 top spec variant comes with a charging cable that makes it easier to charge from home by connecting it to the motorcycle directly or to the removable battery. RV 400 gets a cradle frame, 17 inch alloy wheels and disc brakes.
As mentioned earlier, the instalment scheme of this motorcycle named MyRevoltPlan offers monthly payments of Rs.2999 for RV 300, Rs.3499 for RV 400 base variant and Rs.3999 for RV400 premium variant.
Revolt Intellicorp offers the three motorcycles with benefits including free maintenance for the first three years/30,000km, battery warranty of 8 years/1.5 lakh kilometres, and a product warranty of 5 years/75,000 km. Another surprise element is a connected helmet that the company offers in the accessories package. This helmet developed in support with Google comes with voice command option.
Revolt will begin delivery of the motorcycles from September in order of the booking received. While the first phase delivery will begin in Delhi, these models will be launched soon in Tier 1 cities including Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad etc.
Revolt RV 300 is priced at Rs. 1.11 lakh while Revolt 400 Base and Premium variants are priced at Rs.1.29 lakh and Rs.1.48 lakh respectively.
