TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition has been launched in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs.62,995. The updated model has few cosmetic tweaks on its profile enhancing the racing character of the 125cc scooter.
Changes include a new LED headlamp, integrated LED daytime running lamps that now appear in a T shape, quite similar to the tail lamps featured on the previous version. The new TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition also gets a red hazard warning light for safety reasons.
The unique paint scheme with graphics make the new Ntorq 125 look more attractive too. The three tone paint featuring red, silver and black colours along with the chequered flag and Race Edition sticker at the front gives it an altogether sporty feel.
TVS Ntorq is available in eight colours now including the existing colours available on the standard version. This new edition is powered by a 124.8cc, single cylinder, air cooled SOHC engine mated to a CVT gearbox. The engine develops 9.4bhp and 10.5Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.
Last year the 125cc scooter was on the news for achieving a sales record of one lakh units in less than seven months since its launch. The standard model has also been the first to render bluetooth connectivity in the segment.
The new NTorq Race Edition comes at a premium of Rs.3000 over the existing model and offers a race edition UI unlike the existing one.
