Indian Automobile Industry sees more and more vehicles being launched each day to join the festive season celebration. TVS Motors too has now launched a dual tone variant of Star City Plus to their motorcycle lineup. This new commuter variant features synchronized braking and is available at a price of Rs.52,907 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
Synchronised Braking or Combined Braking technology is an effective safety braking mechanism where in both brakes will be engaged in times of emergency braking situations, thereby providing the rider with better control on the motorcycle. This feature was first introduced by TVS in Jupiter and then later on to other models including Wego and recently launched Radeon. No other company offers this feature on 110cc motorcycles as of now.
The new TVS Star City Plus variant gets a dual tone as part of the festival update. Grey-Black paint scheme is offered on this variant adding to other combinations available on the standard variant like black-red, black-blue and red-black. This dual tone extends to both the mirrors as well.
Powered by the existing 109cc ‘Ecothrust’ air cooled engine that makes 8.3bhp and 8.7Nm of peak torque, it is offered with a four speed gearbox. TVS Star City Plus is a highly economic motorcycle and has managed to win many accolades ever since its launch.
