Prior to the implementation of the safety norms that insist on all two wheelers to be equipped with ABS or CBS, the TVS Motors has introduced Synchronised Braking Technology in its updated Victor. Victor 2019 has launched in India at a price of Rs 54,682, (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Synchronised Braking System provided on this model will help to reduce the braking distance and improve stability while applying brakes. It ensures that the front brake is automatically engaged when the rear brake is applied. TVS claims that SBT introduced now reduces accidents caused by sudden braking as less as 10%, in comparison to traditional braking technologies.
Introduction of SBT, is the only change on the 2019 Victor. All other mechanical features remain the same. It continues to take power from a 3-valve, oil cooled 110cc engine that produces 9.37bhp at 7,500rpm and 9.4NM of torque at 6,000rpm.
Suspension unit contains a telescopic suspension up front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. This set up, combined with a comparatively long seat helps the rider and passenger to enjoy a comfortable ride. Disc brakes at front and drum at rear handles efficient braking. Wheels are alloy ones.
2019 Victor is offered in four colour options- Red Gold ,Black Gold,Matte Blue and Matte Silver and this motorcycle compete with the Hero Passion Xpro and the Honda Livo.
