Vespa launched Urban Club 125cc scooter in India at Rs.72,190 (Ex Showroom Pune). This scooter appears strikingly attractive than the Vespa LX 125 and holds the same engine and mechanicals of the latter.
New Vespa Urban Club scooter is powered by a 125cc engine that generates 9.6PS at 7250rpm and 9.9Nm or torque at 6250rpm.This engine sends power to the rear wheel through a CVT unit. Suspension jobs are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by disk brakes at front and drum brakes at the rear.
Vespa Urban Club will be available in four colour schemes; Azzuro Provenza, Maze Grey, Glossy Yellow and Glossy Red. Few components such as mirror housings and stalks, brake levers, grab rails and wheels appear in glossy black colour, along with these new colour schemes. All other features that are seen in the Vespa range scooters have been included in this new model as well. The brand has given an option to add Piaggio mobile connectivity feature too on the New Vespa Urban Club.
This 125cc scooter falls into a hot selling segment and has the most number of competitors in the market now. Urban Club will lock horns with the leaders of the segment like Honda Activa 125, Hero Destini 125, TVS Ntorq 125 and Suzuki Access 125 in the Indian market.
