Hyundai Creta made its first appearance in the Indian market three years ago. The vehicle grabbed a lot of attention back then. Thanks to the company’s designer team who rendered the vehicle its stunning style and rigid design!

Years later, the company is getting ready to launch the new Creta Facelift anytime soon in India. It is clearly seen that Hyundai has yet again come up with an updated design on the 2018 Creta that shares a short resemblance to the Brazilian-Spec Creta Sport. This sports model too might be launched here in India as per reports from close sources.

Aiming to strengthen its base further, the Korean manufacturer has introduced a range of features with the new Creta. However, the engine spec remains the same as the previous one.

The petrol version comes with the 1.6 litre 4 cylinder engine generating 123bhp of power and 151Nm of torque. The diesel version of the car gets a 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre option producing over 89bhp and 126bhp respectively. The gearbox is mated to a 6 speed for AT and manual transmission.

In the front, the Creta Facelift gets all new chrome frame combined with hexagonal grille. The sweptback headlamps and projector lamps with LED DRLs adds to the freshness in design. The air dams and fog lamps are now positioned close to each other. Not to forget that the air dams get chrome inserts as well as bumpers in the front.

Other interesting features include the dual-tone alloy wheels, body colored ORVMs with integrated turn signals. The top-spec model receives dual tone paint scheme with a black roof.

Interiors of the Creta Facelift also receive some very cool updates. The dual tone upholstery now comes in a much improved quality. Although borrowed from the i20, the touch screen infotainment system is placed properly. Another interesting feature in the top spec variant is the optional sun-roof. However, the changes do not bring in any change to the cabin space.

New Creta is expected to be priced at a premium of Rs.50,000 than the outgoing model, taking into consideration the premium features it has included in the revised design.
