Jeep launched Compass Limited Plus, the top spec variant of their best-selling SUV Compass in India at a price of Rs.21.07 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). The new variant comes at a premium of one lakh than the Limited (O) variant.
Compass Limited Plus comes with a host of additional exterior features that include a dual pane panoramic sun roof, new 18 inch alloy wheels, redesigned front and rear bumpers, dual tone paint scheme with a black roof and Limited Plus badging on the tailgate.
Interiors get tan leather upholstery with power adjustment and memory function for the driver and passenger seats on the front row. Other features include an auto dimming rear view mirror, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, a massive 8.4 inch touch screen infotainment, USB charging port and so on.
The new Compass Limited Plus variant comes in both petrol and diesel trims with no mechanical changes. The 1.4L MultiAir turbocharged four cylinder engine that is paired to a 7-speed clutch automatic gearbox makes 162bhp and 250Nm of torque. The 2.0L MultiJet turbocharged four cylinder diesel engine churns out 171bhp and 350Nm of peak torque, being mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Petrol option gets only 4x2 variant that returns a fuel efficiency of 14.1kmpl while Diesel option gets both 4x2 and 4x4 variants returning mileage of 17.1kmpl and 16.3kmpl respectively.
Safety features on the Compass Limited Plus include 6 airbags, cornering fog lamps, durable all season tyres, electronic parking brake, electronic stability control, keyless entry, reverse parking camera and many more.
Booking for New Jeep Compass Limited Plus has commenced at company dealerships across the country. Deliveries are expected to begin by next month.
