India’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki is all set to create news once again with the largest vehicle display at the Auto Expo 2018. This time, the company has set up a massive pavilion of 4200 square meters, built on the theme of ‘Transformotion’. Through this theme, Maruti Suzuki intends to show their transformation towards developing innovative ideas, design and technology that usher the consumers to a whole new level of future.
The Maruti Suzuki pavilion at Auto Expo 2018 will feature three zones of Arena, Nexa and Motorsports with a total of 18 vehicles. One of the surprises from the company will be the Concept Future S that displays a whole new design language for the company’s upcoming compact cars. This new concept developed by Maruti Suzuki’s engineers, elevates the compact car to an all-new level of excellence in terms of design. The company plans to introduce the concept in their sub compact SUVs in India, after evaluating the response from their consumers.
Another highlight at this pavilion will be Maruti Suzuki’s electric vehicle concept, Concept e-SURVIVOR that is a design study model for a compact SUV. As it pays tribute to Suzuki’s 4WD heritage, this concept also highlights company’s commitment to produce electric vehicles in the nation by 2020, which also includes attending to every bit of detailing in the manufacturing process. The company intends to not just manufacture EVs, but also locally manufacture components, develop charging infrastructure and battery recycling methods.
Next surprise from Maruti Suzuki at the Auto Expo 2018 will be display of a working model of an electric vehicle that the company plans to bring to India by 2020. This next generation hybrid technology has been developed to bring down emissions and reduce pollution in the country, thereby contributing to an all-electric nation in the next couple of years.
Maruti Suzuki will be launching the much awaited car of the year, Swift at this mega show. Bookings for this legendary hatchback have begun last week at the company dealerships. Other vehicles that are likely to be unveiled are facelift versions of New Wagon R, Ciaz and Ertiga.
