• Mercedes Benz launches AMG GLA 45 and CLA 45
• Facelift versions also get a new Aero Edition
• Both cars get 19-inch alloy wheels and other cosmetic updates
• Both models are powered by 2L Bi-Turbo Petrol engine
Mercedes Benz added two more new cars from the AMG stable to the Indian portfolio. CLA 45 sedan and GLA 45 SUV are performance models priced at Rs.75.20 lakh and Rs.77.85 lakh respectively. These facelift versions of the existing models receive a host of upgrades while the price continues to remain the same. These cars are the 6th and 7th consecutive models launched this year from the AMG line-up. Apparently, these models are the entry level cars from the AMG portfolio which also makes them the most affordable ones in the market under this series.
Both AMG CLA 45 and GLA 45 receive cosmetic tweaks that include yellow highlights along the front and rear bumper, AMG graphics on either side, 19-inch sports alloy wheels, striking interiors wrapped in man-made leather upholstery with black and red tone and many more. The CLA 45 gets twin 9-spoke design on the alloy wheels while the GLA 45 gets single 9-spoke design that accentuate the sportiness of these cars.
These newly launched AMG models get power from a 2L 4-cylinder Bi-Turbo charged petrol engine that fire 376bhp worth power and 475Nm of torque being mated to an AMG SpeedShift DCT 7-Speed sports transmission. There is also an option of a 4Matic All-Wheel drive system that lets the GLA 45 sprint from 0-100 in 4.4 seconds while the CLA 45 does the same in just 2 seconds less than the sibling.
Both the vehicles get an Aero Edition that carries a heavier price tag of Rs.77.69 lakh for the CLA 45 and Rs.80.67 lakh for the GLA 45.
