The Indian Spec Nissan Kicks has been launched in India at a base price of Rs.9.55 lakh (Ex-showroom) for the base XL model. There are four variants in offer- XL, XV, XV premium and XV premium plus. All these variants are available in a total of 11 color schemes with seven single colors and 4 dual tones. The top two specs are allotted only to the diesel trims and the petrol is available only in the base trims.
The petrol and diesel trims have the same displacement with cubic centimeters at 1.5L. The petrol motor produces 105bhp and 142Nm of torque while the diesel unit produces 108bhp and 240Nm of torque. Kicks
currently has only manual gearbox option on offer.
Nissan Kicks come with the segment’s first 360 degree bird’s view camera. However, this new feature is only available in the top spec variant. Other features include an 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system, climate control aircon, LED DRLs and all basic features to position itself in the premium segment.
The main rivals for this car isHuyndai Creta , Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, and upcoming Kia SP based SUV.
Nissan also offers Kicks a 3 year extended warranty along with 3 year roadside assistance.
