Tata Nexon, the subcompact car from India’s very own carmaker was launched an year ago. The model had received an overwhelming response from car lovers and still continues to be the company’s best-selling vehicle with average monthly sales of around 4000 units.
To celebrate the successful first anniversary of Nexon, Tata Motors launched a revised edition of the popular model. Named Kraz, this edition is available in two variants Kraz and Kraz + for which sales have begun already at the respective company dealerships in the country. This edition is offered in both petrol and diesel trims on both Kraz and Kraz+. The starting prices are Rs.7.14 lakh for the petrol version and 8.07 lakh for the diesel version.
Kraz is positioned between the XM and XT variants of Tata Nexon and comes with 10 styling updates. An all-new TROMSO black paint all over the body with silver dual tone roof in contrast is the highlight of this new edition. Apart from this, it also receives neo-green finish on the ORVMs, front grille and wheel covers. The Kraz/Kraz + badging on the tail gate is another revision to distinguish itself from the standard version.
Interiors receive more number of updates that include neo-green enhancements on the piano black dashboard, neo-green highlights on the upholstery, piano black doors, 4-speaker Harman infotainment system compatible with Bluetooth function, multi-functional steering wheel, rear ac vents, reverse parking sensors and many more.
New NexonKraz is powered by the same 1.2L Revotron petrol and 1.5L turbo charged Revotorq diesel engine as seen on the standard version. Being mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, the engines produce 110bhp worth power. The two variants also come with three driving modes- Eco, City and Sport as on the existing model.
