The Norton Commando 916 borrows design inspiration from motorcycles of the 1960s with a modern engine underneath.
The Commando 916 is powered by a 961 cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected, parallel-twin engine, with a 270-degree crank, that generates 79 bhp and 90 Nm of peak torque. The five-speed gearbox of the Norton Commando is a separate unit as seen in Royal Enfield bikes.
The Norton Commando 916 gets adjustable, hi-spec Ohlins suspension, with upside down forks at front and twin Ohlins shocks at the rear. Braking is handled by brembo calipers
