Skoda Superb added Sportline, a new sporty variant to its series with a host of revisions on the exteriors and new specifications. However, the mechanicals continue to be that of the outgoing model of the flagship sedan. Sportline is comfortably positioned between the base variant ‘Style’ and the high end version ‘L&K’ of Superb model in terms of price.
This model features gloss black grille upfront along with ORVMs, window frames, 17 inch dual tone alloy wheels and lip spoiler all dipped in black. Other enhancements include smoked fog lamp housing, chrome embellishments on rear diffuser, SPORTLINE badge on sides, all black interiors, 12 way adjustable leather bucket seats, flat bottom steering wheel with paddle shifters, chrome pedals etc.
The 1.8L TSI petrol engine and 2.0L TDI engine of Superb Sportline produce 180bhp and 177bhp respectively. This luxury sports sedan comes at a price premium to the existing Superb, while the newly added features make it definitely worth the price.
