Overview

Tata Tigor EV is the Indian manufacturer’s attempt to deploy a fleet of electric vehicles on the India roads. At present, the Tigor EV is available only for fleet owners and government officials. The car will be made available for private customers soon.

Two drive modes Eco and Sport to suit the needs of city drives and highway drives. The car is powered by a high energy density 16.2 kWh/216Ah battery for a greater driving range of up to 142 km on a single charge as per ARAI. However, the real world driving range depends on factors like traffic, use of AC, etc and will be close to 100km. It comes with a fast charging socket that fires up the battery from 0 to 80% charge in 90 minutes.

Piano Black shark fin antenna, Breakfree coupe-inspired roofline and LED high mounted stop lamp complements the exterior very well. The company claims to offer cocoon-like safety with this fully electric sedan.

Tata Tigor EV is one of the pioneers of the fully electric car along with the likes of Hyundai Kona and Hyundai Nexa.
