Overview

The new Tiger 1200 is 11 kg lighter than the old model.This new version now gets a Inertial Measurement unit along with updated electronics like an optimized cornering ABS, traction control, Hill-hold assist,electrically adjustable windscreen, optional heated grips and seats and 12V power outlets ride-by-wire throttle and six riding modes.

The bike is powered by a 1,215 cc in-line three engine that produces 139 bhp at 9,350 rpm and 122 Nm of peak torque at 7,600 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

48 mm WP upside down forks at the front and WP Monoshock at the rear handles suspension.Braking jobs are handled by 305 mm disc brakes with Brembo four-piston callipers and a single 282 mm disc.
