New CBR 650R comes at a premium of Rs.30,000 more than the old version. Bookings for the same had begun already at company dealerships two months ago. There are over twenty showrooms in the country where this sports machine will be sold and that also includes the recently inaugurated Honda BIgWing showroom that showcases only premium bikes from the brand.
2019 Honda CBR 650R is powered by a 649cc, liquid cooled inline four cylinder engine that makes 85bhp worth power and 60Nm of maximum torque. It also features slipper clutch for faster and smoother downshifts along with Honda Selectable Torque Control System for efficient rear wheel traction.
The new bike weighs around 6kgs lesser than its predecessor. Suspension duties are managed by 41mm Showa separate fork function USD fork at the front and preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking power comes from 310mm twin front disc brakes and 240mm single rear disc brake powered by standard dual channel ABS.
The design on this new sports bike resembles CBR 1000RR Fireblade and features new elements like LED headlamp cluster, digital LCD instrument cluster with gear indicator and clip-on handlebars. 2019 CBR 650R is being offered in black and red colours with striking graphics to make it look aggressive and super sporty.
