The third-generation of the i10 cars are about to hit the Indian roads. The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS will be launched on 20th August. Ahead of the launch, booking is open for the customers now. All you have to do is visit any of the Hyundai dealerships in your locality. Bookings can also be done through their official digital platforms.
A token amount of Rs.11,000 is to be paid while booking. The price of the new Hyundai
car is likely to be highly competitive. The petrol engine cars are expected to be priced in a range of 5,20,000-7,85,000Rs while the diesel engine models are estimated to be priced at 6,30,000-8,25,000Rs.
The new Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS
will come with an engine that complies with the BS6 emission standards which will be in effect from 1st April 2020. The engine spec for the petrol version is similar to the existing Grand i10 cars with a power output of 83hp and peak torque figure of 114Nm.
The 1.2 litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine generates 75hp power output and 190Nm torque while coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission. An automatic transmission variant of the new Hyundai i10 car is also expected with both a petrol and diesel engine versions.
The overall dimensions are as follows: Length - 3.8m, Width - 1.68m, Height - 1.52m, Wheelbase - 2.45m, and Wheel size - 15-inch.
The current Grand i10 fleet of cars will also be available alongside the new i10 NIOS. With the launch of the new car, the subcompact hatchback cars such as Maruti Suzuki Swift
, Ford Figo
are going to face a lot of heat.
